Sunday in Annecy

The climb was tough but with a lot of huffing, puffing, and rest stops

I made it to view Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Europe and

Lake Annecy in France

The payoff was lunch and wine at an outdoor restaurant across from the prison in Annecy, a stroll around the town, and gelato, of course.

Discoveries or

Things you would think a person who has lived 66 years should be able to do in any country.

Open a yogurt container
Find the switch that opens the electric shutters. I had every light on in the house before discovering the remote control wasn't for the TV.
Find her way back from the walk she took yesterday which I did but with a mountainous detour that required backtracking.
Zip the fly on her shorts. Yes, I walked the whole way, smiling, saying "bonjour" to every person I passed only to find out my shorts were unzipped the whole time.
Find that there is a reason for commodes being called 'water closet.'
Battery's running down. Gotta go.
